ERP Deployment Details for SUNG IL - a Leading Adhesive Tape Manufacturer in Vietnam

On November 7, 2022, S.I.S Vietnam had the opportunity to visit the adhesive tape processing plant of SUNG IL Vina Co., Ltd. — one of the largest adhesive tape manufacturers and processors in Vietnam. Below are the details of the ERP design built for this company.

Overview of the specific characteristics of the adhesive tape processing industry at SUNG IL

SUNG IL Vina Co., Ltd. operates in the manufacturing and processing of adhesive tape, as well as producing insulating and heat-resistant tapes and films for electronic devices.

S.I.S spent time visiting the site directly to conduct a survey, study the company's specific requirements, and implement the SIS ERP project for the adhesive tape processing industry at SUNG IL. 

Types of adhesive tape processing at SUNG IL 

• Contract processing for customers (customers supply the raw materials)
• Selling raw materials and processing according to customer requirements
• Subcontracting processing to a third party, with SUNG IL supplying the raw materials, then reprocessing according to customer requirements

Processing methods at SUNG IL:

Cutting: Cutting one large jumbo roll into smaller rolls (cut sizes)

Rolling: Re-rolling a large roll into rolls of shorter length. For example: one 1,000m roll re-rolled into two 500m rolls.

Slitting: Rolling and cutting at the same time.

Designing a specialized management solution for SUNG IL on SIS ERP

After surveying and studying SUNG IL's management needs, S.I.S developed a detailed plan to design a dedicated SIS ERP SME solution for this project. The software allows incoming inspection, production process control, outgoing quality control, and management of non-conforming goods.

Creating IQC, OQC, and PQC vouchers, as well as return/rewind vouchers => Reports are updated automatically.

Accounting department

All data from other departments is linked to the finance and accounting department. The software generates accounting vouchers, receipt/payment vouchers, etc. => Ledgers and reports are also updated automatically, simplifying accountants' daily tasks.

In addition, the software is also connected to the HR and payroll department, linked with the timekeeping machine, making it easy to track and report employees' clock-in/clock-out times.
